Hey, Laura here. I was born, raised and currently live in the St. Louis metropolitan area. During the day I make money at a 9-5 desk job. During my free time I enjoy reading (duh), traveling, shopping, spending time with my friends, family and dogs. I love a good book, and by book I mean an actual book. I am one of those crazy people who refuses to read off of a Kindle or Nook. I need the book in my hand and eventually in my ever growing library. I have book shelves filled with books and love to add to my collection. The books I enjoy reading most are Sci-fi, supernatural and mystery/thriller novels. On occasion I will also throw in romance and humor/memoirs. So between Shannon and I we pretty much have all the genre's covered.

Hi All!.. Shannon here. I'm the crazy binge reader. I'm a mother of 2 crazy boys and a wife to an awesome guy who understands my need to keep the light on until 2:00 a.m. just so I can finish a book. I work a full time job and have tons of "soccer/baseball mom" duties. On top of my book obsession I have quite the obsession with movies and TV. My trade off to juggle family, work, friends and my obsessions is lack of sleep. Redbull is my best friend and needed very often when I decide 3 hours of sleep is enough just so I can finish a book. I have tons of opinions that I love to share. Give me a good book and I'll talk your ear off and on the flip side I will take a bad book super personal (I know it's just fictional characters to most but not to this book nut). I tend to favor the romance books and can appreciate the smutty reads. So if your up for honest reviews and discussions on books, movies, TV. Welcome to our book world.
