It's really hard to put into words how much I adored this series. It is so different than anything out there right now so it's hard to even describe. Ok I'm lying it's easy to describe....heart-pounding PERFECTION!!!! If you have not started the Gypsy Brothers series then you obviously haven't read my 6 previous reviews on this series from books 1-6 because I've been saying for months.... READ IT like now!!. One Love was super hard for me to finish... and not because it wasn't .... PERFECTION... but because I didn't want it to end!!!!!! I feel like I've lost a piece of my sanity reading this series  from every crazy twist and turn and heart wrenching scene... and guess what?  I really don't want it back... Keep my sanity and give me more JASE and ELLIOT!!! I want to keep on fighting the Gypsy Brothers and the Cartel right along with Jase, Julz and Elliot... but all great things must have closure and Lili has given us just that. I loved ever one of these and have a feeling I will be doing a binge 1-7 full read through here before long just to say hey to my favorite band revenge seekers. Easiest 5 stars for sure!! If you haven't started the Gypsy Brothers series then you are in luck because 7 Sons just happens to be free right now so get on it and enjoy!! Then move right along to grab up One Love to see it all wrapped up in a bloody mess of a bow!

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Wow! Brenda has once again delivered a love story that gives me "THE FEELS" ;) ..  Brenda has somehow managed to make each one of the Fire on Ice books better than the last and each guy more loveable. After Drive I didn't think there was a way you could top Niko in my book but Orion has done it. I also have to add that I absolutely love that the heroines in this series. They are all super likeable and Samara was a great addition to the group of lovely ladies that these awesome guys fall in love with. There is nothing that bothers me more than when the hero ends up with a girl that makes me want to pull my hair out so thank you for that. 5 HUGE stars for this Epic ending to a wonderful series. I loved it and will sing from the mountain tops your praises!!.. Also be on the look out for the next great series On The Line by Brenda coming in February 2015. We are leaving the NHL and going down to the Minors and I have a feeling there will be nothing Minor about it!!!

Yay!! I'm so glad I stumbled on this one.. Just reading the synopsis had me 1-Clicking this one right away. There seems to be so much going on in this small town of West Bend behind the scenes and there are a lot of back stories that I want to know like NOW.. but for now let's just discuss River and Elias. River is a rags to riches Hollywood sweetheart. She was discovered at a young age and brought to Hollywood, but leaving behind the small town and poor area she grew up in doesn't change her mother and the way she was raised. Her mother is a manipulator and River has suffered a lot from the time she was young. When she's filming a reality show intro for her wedding day the last thing she plans on walking into is her Rock Star fiance' with her sister. River quickly takes off to Vegas to escape the no doubt media frenzy that is to follow this very public breakup.

Elias has just been medically discharged from the Navy after losing his leg when trying to defuse a bomb. The last thing Elias wants is to head back to West Bend where he has nothing but bad memories of an abusive father. The Saint family infamous and not in a good way so Elias has done his best to stay as far away until now. When celebrating his "retirement" from the military with his friends in Vegas Elias runs into a gorgeous girl in the hallway. She looks familiar but he can't place where he's seen her. The last thing he expected the next day was a media frenzy and the girl from the hall pleading for him to help her escape. From this point it's not hard to figure out that there is some definite chemistry these two share along their road trip to West Bend. There are some really hot scenes in this one. Like for real I don't know what it is about Elias but his crass dirty mouth is super hot!! I'm giving this one 5 Stars for sure. I can't wait for Silas, Luke and Killian's books and to see what craziness is going on with West Bend. Grab this one up.

Wooooowwyy.. Freaking loved this one... Thanks so much Emma for gifting me a copy of this!!.. Great chemistry, plot and perfect ending!!.. I love a story about starting over and reclaiming your life and that is totally this book. Annie had a hard life and always felt like she didn't fit in with her family. When she's reached her limit with work and the shock of losing her parents she decides to grab a bag and travel. With no plan she bounces around until she finally ends up in Australia. Coming from the Midwest she has never seen the ocean and is in awe of Sidney. On her first few days in Sidney she is checking out the beach and tries swimming. When she is swept out with the tide Annie begins to panic and is saved by Cam. Cam is an up and coming professional surfer and is used to girls falling all over themselves to met him. Cam doesn't do relationship but there is something about Annie that he can't stay away from. Such a warm fuzzy read that you will really enjoy. I would give this one 4.5 Stars so grab it up and enjoy!!

I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. Thank you very much Renna because this was really a great start to this three part series. Likeable characters that both have some secrets that slowly unravel throughout Part One. Sydney and Gavin have some great scenes and I really look forward to where this is headed with Part Two. I will say my only negative that is keeping me from 5 staring this book would be that I wasn't totally gaga over Gavin. I'm hoping with the next installment I get some more insight into him and really make that connection. All in all I would give this one 4 Stars and will definitely be checking out Part Two when it releases November 14th. Grab it up!!...

4 Stars – I picked up this book a couple of years ago while “Dexter” the TV show was still on Showtime. I am a huge fan of the show so thought I should probably check out the b...ooks the show was based on. Almost exactly a year to the day the show ended I finally decided to read the book.

If you have never seen the show… THEN GO WATCH IT! It is amazing! But before you do that I’ll give you a synopsis of what it is about. Dexter Morgan is a blood splatter analysis for the Miami Police Department. His adopted father, Harry, was a police office and so is his adopted sister, Deb. That is about the only thing they have in common though. Dexter has a dark secret… a secret he calls his “dark passenger”… he is a serial killer. His father recognized this when Dexter was young, and not wanting Dexter to spend the rest of his life in prison or a mental institution, taught him how to kill and get away with it. But, there was one catch. He gave Dexter a code; only kill those who deserve it. Dexter can kill other murderers, rapists, child molesters, etc. but never an innocent. And Dexter always follows Harry’s code. It may seem dark and disturbing but the way that the story is brought to life makes you feel for Dexter. You root for him. You don’t want him to get caught.

I’m not going to lie… I prefer the show to the books. But the show has ended so I have to get my Dexter fix in another way. I definitely plan on finishing reading the series. The first book stuck to the show pretty well (or did the show stick to the book?). There is the same characters you grow to love and hate in the show and the same story lines. I am somewhat hoping that the later books deviate some from the show so I can travel on a new and unknown adventure with Dexter and his dark passenger.

Review of “City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6)”

“City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6)” – Cassandra Clare
3 Stars – I’ll admit it… I love “The Mortal Instruments” series. I know they are for 16 year old girls but there is something about Cassandra Clare...’s writing that really gets me (I also love her “Infernal Devices” series). But… I was really disappointed with this book.

This was the longest of the books in the series at a whopping 725 pages. That number could have been cut in half if Clare had removed ¾ of the pages where Clare and Jace repeated to each other how much they love each other. Holy cow. We got it. Now let’s move on the THE ACTUAL STORY. When Clare wasn’t busy describing Clare and Jace’s lusty feelings for each other, and actually got down to the Shadowhunters never ending battle with evil, the story was pretty good. I especially enjoyed how she intertwined the “Infernal Devices” characters with the “Mortal Instruments” characters. All in all I would have given this novel 4 stars but I had to detract 1 star just because of the annoyance I had to go through with reading for the 100th time about the googly eyes the main characters where giving each other.

If you have never read any of Cassandra Clare’s books I would highly suggest either one of her series. And if you have already read the first 5 “Mortal Instruments” books then yes, I would suggest reading “City of Heavenly Fire” but be forewarned… you may need to skip a page or ten.

I had been hearing tons of hype about this book and had to jump on the bandwagon and see what all the fuss was about. This book blew me away... loved it!!!! Such great chemistry between Greta and Elec, you could just feel it. I could not put it down. So now you all know the hype is true. Penelope Ward has delivered a swoon worthy read with some great back and forth between these characters. It showcases a unconventional relationship that bonds these two over time, distance and difficult circumstances. I give it 4.5 Stars.. Grab this one up and jump on the hype bandwagon you will not regret it!.

Review of Rowdy (Marked Men #5)

Oh my!! I'm pretty sure Rowdy just gave Rule a run for his money as my favorite Marked Man. 5 Stars all the way. I can't get enough of this crew. I love these guys! Such a tight knit group of unconventional guys that truly are beautiful inside and out. Sometimes they make it hard to be loved but in the end you can't help but love them. So with each book I get a little more sad because I know we are running low on the Marked Men crew with means we are nearing the end of this epic group of guys. I'd totally be OK with a flash forward to all of this gangs kids wreaking havoc and causing some of our Marked Men some much deserved payback ;).... but I'm getting a little ahead of myself. 

Back to our strong and sexy greaser... Rowdy Saint James... Throughout the previous books in the series there is very little we learn about Rowdy. We know he's in the crew and would do anything for his friends, but his past is pretty much a mystery. He didn't grow up with these guys like a lot of them did. Rowdy had a tough childhood and suffered tremendous loss and disappointment. After losing his mother suddenly and being stuck in foster care, Rowdy struggled to fit in. His only life line at this crucial time in his life was the Cruz sisters that lived next door to his foster home. When both of them let him down and leave him heart broken Rowdy vows he will never let that happen again.

Salem Cruz has had a rough life since packing up at 18 and leaving home. She had always struggled to conform to her fathers control and when she was able to leave she packed her bags and with a heated exchange with her father vowed she'd never return to Loveless Texas again. There was one problem though, as Salem backed out of the driveway she caught a glimpse of Rowdy. She always had a special place in her heart for him and something about the look on his face when she kissed him good bye stuck with her. When Salem realized the tattoo shop in Denver that is actively recruiting her is home to none other then Rowland "Rowdy" Saint James, she sees the opportunity to mend a relationship that she truly treasured. Moving cross country for a guy she hasn't seen in 10 years seems crazy but there is something drawing her. What she doesn't expect is the sweet boy she loved to hang out with is not so happy to see her and she is determined to find out why.

I have been a huge Jessica Sorensen fan for a long time. The Coincidence series if one of my all time favorites of hers. Callie & Kayden's story has had a ton of heart ache and these young characters have had to overcome so much. The Resolution delivers us with the perfect ending for these two broken characters. They have grown and healed together and even when old habits reappear they have come to a place where they know the need each other no matter what. I am all about Callie and Kayden and can not get enough of these two. If you have not read the Coincidence series then stop reading this review and start this series now!!! From the first book in this series we have seen the terrible things these two have overcome together; From abuse, destructive habits, self discovery and ultimately finding your healing by leaning on someone who loves and understands you. It's such a touching story and I feel like my "friends" (Yes I know they are not real don't judge.. LOL) have finally found the peace they have needed. 5 Big stars from me for this one and not a big shocker because I think I've yet to give anything Jessica writes less than that. Grab this one up!

If you've been following my reviews, it will come as no surprise to you that I am head over heels in love with the Blood & Roses series. Callie Hart has created loveable characters and a plot that has probably given me a few ulcers (wink wink). I love everything about Zeth and Sloane's story. The final Blood & Roses installment delivers us gut wrenching heart ache, nail biting suspense and tons of hotness (times a million). The most shocking for me was Zeth really had some heart felt moments I never thought we'd see from our closed off bad boy. Reading the final few chapters was super hard for me, because I really didn't want to let these "book" friends go. This is without a doubt another easy 5+Star read for me. I can't wait to see what Callie has in store for us next and if she slips some Zeth and Sloane in the side story I will be forever grateful. Grab this one up ASAP! I think the series name should include "secrets" in the title, because WOW there are a lot. This Prequel gives us a little taste of what is to be a great, suspenseful, twisted romance series. Hold on because this will give you a few surprises. 4 Stars read for this one. Grab it up it October 13th.

I was gifted a copy of this book in return for my honest review. I honestly can not say enough good things about this series it is just that awesome!!!. Each installment gets better and I am almost sad to think we only have one more book left. There is so much to clear up and so little time. There has been so many climaxes in this series that I'm pretty sure I have permanent "O" face ;).

Surprises and secrets are revealed. Shocking and heartbreaking are too calm to even remotely describe what you will feel and that's just in the first few chapters. Two Roads did not disappoint and is another 5 star read for me. Grab it up it went live today.

Review of Temptation Series books 1-3

I stumbled across this series in my recommendations list from amazon. Temptation Book 1 I was initially intrigued. I had a really hard time getting on board with the moral aspects of this book. I definitely think the lines of what is considered cheating and what isn't are seriously skewed. Satisfaction Book 2 left a lot to be desired for me. While I think the story was still interesting, I waivered on my interest and it took me a couple days to finish. I'm not a reader that normally takes longer than an evening to read a book, so when I lose interest and put it down that usually says something. After reading the first two installments, I decided to push forward and continued with Book 3 and what I thought was the conclusion in the series. Fulfillment Book 3, was a little more of an improvement over Satisfaction, but I still did not feel that need to hurry and finish. There seemed to be a lot of filler conversations and some of the dialogue was a little annoying. All in all I would give the entire series as a whole a 3 Star rating.

I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. What do we have here?? I do believe we have a new great serial series. I finished this one up quick and I'm anxious to see where book 2 will lead us. Really good character development and a interesting plot line. High Stakes Seduction will be released in 5 parts. With the entire series scheduled to be out by late November. Another win when we don't have to wait too long for the conclusion. I give Book 1 4 Stars. Look for purchase links to be posted 9/26.

Another great sports romance by Brenda Rothert! Super fun and easy read that I zipped through in no time at all. We see a lot of our loveable characters from Fire on Ice books 1-3 along with the addition of our new couple Niko and Sadie. 4 Stars for this one. I love this series and this concept. Brenda has created another couple that you really fall in love with. This had some really funny back and forth between these two along with some really hot scenes. Check it out for sure and be looking for the next Fire on Ice book around Orion. (Side Note: I'm honored that I have the very first paperback copy of this book - from Brenda's mouth herself right after she signed it.. sqeeeee!! Thanks Brenda so glad we got to meet you!)

So if you read volume one or the review I posted a few days ago, you know we were left on a bit of a cliffy with Jess and Dylan's relationship. Well let me tell you in Volume 2 everything really hits the fan and again we are left on yet another, not quite as stomach churning but close, cliffy. The only downside to volume 2 in my opinion was Dylan and Jess are pretty much never together the entire story apart from a few chapters. I understand that the separation builds to the story but I felt really disconnected to them and their chemistry on this one. I give this one a 3.5 star. I still love the story and of course I will be hanging on to see how this all clears up in volume 3. It's a roller coaster so prepare. Check this out for sure it went live today so 1-click away!!!

I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. This was a cute read and I zipped right through it. My favorite thing about Extreme Close-Up was the fact that her husband had left her for another woman and she starts a relationship with said women's 23 year old son. IN THEIR FACES!!Fist Pump for her!!  haha!. I love a good revenge or girl got her groove back book!. I give this one 4 Stars. Book #2 in the Perspectives series releases this fall as well so I will be watching for that.

At 41 Lisa Taylor is starting her life over. When her marriage falls apart she finds herself in unchartered territory. She's starting a new life and supporting her teenaged son, Jake. Bills are pilling up and her hobby turned career is not making ends meet. Lisa gets the shock of a lifetime when she realizes the gardener she's been ogling through the kitchen window is none other the Braden "Brady", the same teenaged boy that used to babysit her son. I was under the impression that there was no way Jodi Ellen Malpas could come up with a character as awesome as our beloved Jesse Ward, boy was wrong. She's done it again and our next BBF is....... Miller Hart. I finally got a chance to start this one last night and I could not stop. I got to the end and was like "NOOOOOOO I need more". That's right... another amazing book by JEM!!! 5 Big stars from this girl!!! With his demanding attitude and OCD mannerism there isn't a thing you wont love about Miller "M" Hart. Get ready for a good ride when you start this one because it goes every which way. Luckily we only have to wait a few short months for book 2 because we are left hanging at the end. I am counting down the days. Grab this one up quick.

ARC Review of Blue Shoes Volume 1

I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. If you haven't read JJ's Revenge Series then stop right now because you should definitely read it. Although I love Dylan and Jess, I do not particularly like the whole serial concept. I feel like a broken record, but I hate being spoon fed little snippets of a story. It leaves me very unsatisfied. This one was a little better as far as length and since this series will wind down in 3 installments I'm hoping the next two will be a little meatier. I love these characters and think there was plenty of drama to keep this Volume edgy and interesting. 4 Stars from me on Volume 1. Per norm JJ leaves us with a cliffy but luckily we wont have to wait too long for Volume 2.   

Blue Shoes is the next chapter in the Jess Rivera and Dylan Wolf story. At the end of Revenge Dylan and Jess are happy and engaged to be married. Blue Shoes starts off a year from then and Jess is struggling with being in the spotlight that Dylan loves. Having a rock star fiancé makes it impossible to do anything normal or privately especially wedding plans. Not wanting her wedding day to be a media nightmare, Jess and Dylan have decided not to tell anyone when their big day is.  With the big day quickly approaching and Jess's job taking her to Rome for 5 weeks the distance between Jess and Dylan is going to be tough.
